OUR FOUNDATION
From its inception, our law firm has been committed to offering all of our clients quality legal representation and advocacy in a more connected, personalized environment. Having started out working at a large, statewide commercial law firm, our founding partner, John Kingman Keating, sought to offer his clients the sophisticated legal services they required without all the other trappings of a large commercial law practice. In 1988 Mr. Keating, a fourth-generation Orlando native, began his firm providing legal representation in the areas of real estate transactions and land development, bank and financial institution loan transactions, and business formations and transitions (operations, mergers, sales and purchases of business entities, including buy-sell agreements).
Kenneth L. Schlitt, motivated by the same principals of service, joined the firm, expanding its practice to include lender loan workouts and foreclosures, and later became a partner. Well into its third decade, the firm’s staff and areas of expertise have steadily expanded throughout the years, while its focus and resolve in exercising the highest degrees of professionalism and providing the highest level of reasonably priced legal services to its clients in a personalized atmosphere remain steadfast and at the very foundation of the firm’s success.
Keating / Schlitt serves clients state-wide from its newly constructed offices located adjacent to Orlando’s Downtown City Core, with easy access to and from Interstate 4, on the corner of Colonial Drive (Highway 50) and Highland Avenue.
