Kenneth L. Schlitt is a partner in the law firm of Keating & Schlitt, P.A., in Orlando, Florida. Since 1991, Mr. Schlitt has practiced law in downtown Orlando primarily in the areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial real estate lending transactions, commercial leasing, loan workout transactions and mortgage foreclosure litigation. Mr. Schlitt has extensive experience representing institutional lenders in loan workouts and mortgage foreclosures, as well as in commercial, construction, development and residential loan transactions. He has represented property owners, developers and institutional lenders in residential and commercial real estate acquisition, disposition and loan transactions. Mr. Schlitt has significant experience in commercial leasing transactions, representing both property owners and tenants. He also represents clients in connection with the formation of business entities and business sale and purchase transactions. With a background in accounting, Mr. Schlitt brings financial experience to his clients. Mr. Schlitt has received an AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Schlitt is a second generation Floridian born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. After graduating from law school, Mr. Schlitt moved to Orlando in 1991 to join a boutique business law firm. In 1998, Mr. Schlitt joined Mr. Keating and their partnership is now known as Keating & Schlitt, P.A. Mr. Schlitt has been a regular participant in the Guardian Ad Litem Program of the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc.
